![]() The only other CPU we know has passed this mark is the Ryzen 9 5900X (scores 631 points) as AMD highlighted that result (see slide below) at the launch event in early October. This chart comparing high end CPUs is made using thousands of PerformanceTest benchmark results and is updated daily. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 1636 (77) Intel Core i9-11900 1630 (77) Intel Core i9-11900F 1630 (77) AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 1627 (77) AMD Ry1627 (77) Intel Core i5-12400F 1623 (77) Intel Core i5-12400 1623 (77) Cinebench R23 (Multi-Core) Cinebench R23 is the successor of Cinebench R20 and is also based on the Cinema 4 Suite. This is a great result as 600 is a significant milestone. Benchmark results AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32C 64T 3.70 GHz. If the scores are genuine the Ryzen 5 5600X scores 609 points in the Cinebench R20 single-core benchmark. Yesterday a set of Cinebench scores featuring the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X emerged on the LinusTechTips forums, via VideoCardz. An overclocked 16-core Ryzen based on Zen2 architecture would score 4346 points in Cinebench R15. That obviously wasn’t the full story, and it seems like AMD was hiding its light under a bushel. The Ryzen 9 with 16-cores would utilize both dies, as opposed to Ryzen 9 3900X, which only uses 12 cores out of 16. During AMD’s launch event it had compared the 5600X to the similarly configured Intel Core i5 10600K, which it soundly trounced in performance per dollar in single and multi threaded workloads plus gaming. The chart shows the new Zen 3 CPUs stacked up against Intel’s lineup of processors, e.g. The headline winning property of this Zen 3 6C/12T CPU was that it had stolen the single threaded performance crown from Intel challengers in the official PassMark rankings. The CineBench R20 scores have surfaced on the website CPU-monkey, and the results look promising. In October we reported upon a leaked PassMark CPU result for what was thought to be an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. Of course the latter will be the most affordable / accessible of this opening quartet, and will be watched particularly closely by those on a mid-range budget. The following four Zen 3 architecture CPUs are supposed to be available from 5th November the Ryzen 9 5950X and 5900X, the Ryzen 7 5800X, and the Ryzen 5 5600X. Unlike abstract benchmarks, which only test specific functions of CPUs, Cinebench offers a real-world. One of the biggest tech events this week is set to be the release of the first batch of AMD Ryzen 5000 Series desktop CPUs on Thursday. Any computer owner can evaluate their individual system.
